2016
While having been a practicing witch since 2014, it wasn’t until 2016 that Honey started to get involved with local pagan communities. Through that she was inspired by the natural history of witchcraft, magic, folklore, and traditions in Scotland right where she grew up.
2018
While Honey had crafted wands in the past for family members and close friends, she was now starting to test the waters in terms of seeing if other witches in her community and online would be interested in her wares. On her personal account she received lots of positive responses with people wanting their own unique wand. She started selling them to witches all across the world… Including Alaska!
2020-22
While still making wands, Honey made an active effort to start travelling across Scotland, attending events such as the ones made by the Taibhsear Collective, and interacting with local communities to grow their knowledge of Folk witchcraft and traditions across Scotland.
2023-Present
Back in 2022, Honey began hosting small witchcraft events for friends, family, and members of her close-knit witchy circle in Scotland. These gatherings became a cherished tradition, filled with magic, learning, and bonding. By 2024, the positive energy and enthusiasm surrounding these events inspired Honey to create Selkie & Hare to combine all of her creative passions.
